Angie and Brandon's Engagement Session

Angie and Brandon got engaged last month in Napa Valley, and upon returning to Chicago Angie asked if I would shoot their engagement session, and of course, I was thrilled! We have had such an amazing fall in Chicago this year, allowing me to shoot outdoors when usually by this time it would be way too cold for an outdoor session to be remotely enjoyable. Here are some favorite shots of the two lovebirds, Congratulations!!!

Autumn Maternity Session

Gabi and Mark are expecting a baby girl in December and I had the opportunity to capture this special time for them with an amazing autumn background and some pretty outstanding fall weather.

Escaping the brutal Chicago winter...

After what has proven to be one of the most challenging years of my life so far, I was very fortunate to be able to escape the infamously brutal Chicago winter for at least a few days this year. The place: Ojochal, located on Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. The itinerary: nonexistent. The company: amazing.

Winter 2010

On Saturday, December 4th, 2010 Chicago welcomed its first snowfall of the winter season, and it was, quite frankly, a winter wonderland. Of course, we say that now because winter is only beginning, I am sure once February comes and we get 3 feet of snow dumped on us, it won't seem like much of wonderland at all.... but anyway, back to the magic of the season! :)

Isabel and I met up with a couple of friends at Millenium Park downtown and had a blast playing in the snow. My friend, Mauro, brought his camera and we took advantage of his photo skills to get some sweet winter shots of Isabel. Here are some of my favorites (totally unedited and still amazing), along with the Shutterfly link to the Christmas card I created with the photos.
